The Bond 1786 is Ash and Jaime Anand’s most recent venture here in the Adirondacks. The Anand’s are no stranger to the hospitality world, in just 6 short years they have grown their restaurant and lodging division into somewhat of a local empire. Their first purchase in August of 2015 was The Grist Mill, a fine dining establishment located directly on the Schroon River, in 2016 they purchased a historic landmark in Warrensburg, called Ashes Pub. Ashes was given a significant redesign in 2018 with consideration to bringing some diversity and uniqueness to town; affordable, Mexican cuisine seemed to fit the bill. Ocho Cinco Cantina was then added to one side of the existing restaurant while Ashes Pub still resides on the original side. The Bond 1786 is home to a rustic yet contemporary restaurant and 10 room Inn, a spacious side yard will eventually host a seasonal wedding tent while maintaining privacy for the Inn guests and wedding attendees. The on property restaurant will serve both bistro pub fare and a full dinner menu with plans to open for lunch during the summer season. The Anand’s take great pride investing into local historic landmarks in the area, several of their other properties are on the historical registry, maintaining integrity and authenticity are the two main goals as the Lotus hospitality division grows. The Bond 1786 first saw construction in 1839 as the Griffin House, part of the original main house still sits roadside on the property. The 10 room Inn was added in the 80’s by the Carrington Family, the Anand’s have plans to make some minor aesthetic changes, updating to gas fireplaces, a hot tub, property gardens and local partnership opportunities for guests. The Anand’s are excited to showcase all the property has to offer to locals and incoming guests.
The Anand’s also owns several other local businesses and a multi national Analytics firm. The Anand’s reside here in Warrensburg with their children.
